GLS WATER TANK
WHAT IS GLS WATER TANK
Glass Fused Steel tank (GFS tanks) also known as Glass Lined Steel tanks (GLS tanks) that are built by using the GFS panels. These GFS panels are mild steel sheets that go through a process, where a layer of glass/silicate is fused on them. The key reason for fusing glass with steel is to enhance the overall durability of the panel. Single layered Steel is vulnerable to environmental conditions, causing earlier decomposition/corrosion of the material; hence the fusion of glass prevents that. After fusing the steel with glass, the strength increases, the acceptable bracket of PH value for alkaline solutions widens, and the resistance of abrasion inflates.
1.Corrosion Resistance: GLS tanks boast a glass-fused coating on steel, ensuring superior resistance to corrosion.
2.Durability: With a robust steel structure and protective glass layer, GLS tanks offer long-lasting durability.
3.Versatility: Suitable for various applications, including potable water storage, wastewater treatment, and industrial processes.
4.Modular Design: The modular construction allows for easy transportation, handling, and on-site assembly, facilitating quick installation.
5.Customizable Sizes: Available in a range of sizes and configurations to meet specific storage requirements.
6.Temperature Resistance: Can withstand a wide range of temperatures, making them adaptable to different climatic conditions.
7.Hygienic Storage: The smooth glass surface inhibits bacterial growth, making GLS tanks ideal for storing potable water.
8.Chemical Resistance: The glass-fused coating provides resistance to a variety of chemicals, enhancing suitability for corrosive substances.
9.Easy Maintenance: Minimal maintenance required due to corrosion-resistant nature, with routine cleaning typically sufficient.
10.Thermal Expansion Tolerance: Designed to withstand thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring structural integrity in varying temperatures.
11.Environmentally Friendly: Materials used are environmentally friendly, and tanks can be recycled at the end of their service life.
1.Rapid Installation: GLS tanks are quick to install due to their modular design, which involves assembling prefabricated panels on-site, reducing construction time and costs.
2.Minimal Maintenance: The corrosion-resistant glass coating minimizes the need for frequent maintenance, resulting in lower upkeep costs over the tank’s lifespan.
3.Wide Application Range: GLS tanks are versatile and suitable for a variety of applications, including water storage, wastewater treatment, biogas reactors, and industrial processes.
4.Customization Options: Flexibility in design and configuration for specific project requirements.
5.High Resistance to Impact and Abrasion: Glass-fused coating enhances resilience, providing resistance to impact and abrasion in industrial settings.
